A wonderful service center filled with friendly, professional and competent technicians. I brought my car in and they had a loaner ready to go. I was in no rush so I told them it was okay to take their time and get back to me when they had the chance. I could tell they were very busy by the number of cars and people in the waiting area. They serviced the car that day and I was able to pick it up the next morning. The balance on my car seemed off and they checked everything out and it runs beautifully. Thanks to all the lovely folks at Ramsey Subaru Service Center.

This was my first interaction with this business. My service advisor was friendly and extremely professional. The service was performed in a timely manner and no one tried to sell me any additional or unnecessary services. Waiting room is spacious, there’s a coffee machine, water and small snacks provided for those who are waiting for their vehicles on site. The only issue I ran into was that I had to take a couple of hours off from work during lunch to pick my car up because they close the doors at 5pm every weekday. However, I do understand that many businesses have had to make adjustments due to staff shortages, etc., so overall, I was very pleased with my experience here and plan to continue using this service center going forward.

EDIT: Follow-up posted on 624/2022. The day after I posted this review, the manager Melissa called me. We discussed what happened and it seems the error was the original time estimate given to me was not in-line with the services being performed on the car. She apologized on behalf of Ramsey Subaru Service Center and offered to make amends for this incident. I greatly appreciate Melissa’s quick and honest response, and her efforts to make my next experience at the Service Center a better one. So I changed by review from 1 star to 3 stars. END EDIT
I have a 2017 Subaru Outback that I purchased from Ramsey Subaru in 2016. I have taken my Subaru to the Ramsey Subaru Service Center since December of that year.
Even though I live over 20 miles away I have gone to the service center because the service has been excellent, the staff friendly and knowledgeable, and I am familiar with the area (used to work across the street).
This past service was not up to the normal standard. I made a 9am appointment for my car’s 70k mile service. I arrived at 8:57am, and there were two cars in line ahead of me. After going through the usual stuff, and declining the air filter change, I asked for a time estimate for the service. The service rep, Drew Wise, told me 2-2.5 hours. I was fine with that; the service center has been very good at performing the requested service in the allotted time. Given that this wasn’t a new service rep or a unusual job, I felt confident that Ramsey Subaru Service Center would not make me waste my entire morning waiting for them to finish a routine maintenance.
Boy, was I wrong. It took them 4 hours to complete the 70k mile service on my car, and STILL DIDN’T WASH IT! Worse, Drew could not provide me with an explanation as to why it took so long. He told me the manager was not in and would not be in until tomorrow (Saturday). I was very disappointed that the service rep apparently could not get an explanation from the mechanic as to why a routine service took 4 hours to accomplish. I know that Drew is just the CSR, not the mechanic, but there was a distinct lack of communication going on between the workers that day. Also, I didn’t receive any progress updates other than a text & email about other recommended services, which I declined.
I am leaning towards just going to a local garage for future service because at least if they are severely delayed I will be waiting at home.
