All staff so friendly and courteous. Got my Tahoe in within a few days (after it was hit in a parking lot) and back a day sooner than expected. They kept me updated on the repair progress. AND my vehicle was clean inside and out when I picked it up. I will highly recommend Yokum’s in the future. Thanks so much.

I dropped a motorcycle fuel tank off at Yokum autobody about 1 September for a estimate to have a dent removed. The estimator was not in so the sweet young lady at the desk accepted the tank and said she would call me on Friday 2 sep. The call came in. They wanted $1,000.00 to remove the 2ish inch dent. Then told me they will not re-pen stripe the tank. I told them to go ahead with the job. I just want my bike back up and running.
I thought about this all weekend. On Tuesday 6 sep I was there when they opened. I asked if they had began the repair yet. The answer was no. So, I took the tank and cancel the job for them.
That same day I took the tank to G & C autobody in Ukiah. They don’t do motorcycles but they sent me to Mendo Customs.
I went to Mendo Customs (in the same parking lot). When I walked in all I see are pickup trucks. I thought no way these guys will do this. A guy named Uri Rodriguez approached me and we spoke about what needs to be done and how exactly he does what he will do. When I left I also left my fuel tank.
Mendo Customs will remove the dent, repaint the entire tank AND add in some metal flake then re-pen stripe it by hand and clear coat it. Said he could have it done sometime next week.
The charge? …. Are you ready for this? $600.00.
THANK YOU YOKUM AUTOBODY FOR BEING OVER PRICED WHILE OFFERING LESS THAN STANDARD WORK.
Yokum is also responsible for my pickup truck paint and spray on bed liner. Supposed to have a lifetime warrenty on both. While I was there I asked about getting a really nasty paint run removed from the inside of my right passenger door and my spray on bed liner is chipping and wearing in such a way as to show a different color along the edges and terribly on the tailgate inside.
I was told I need to provide my reciept. I said I should be in your computer. I was told they dont have anything on their system older than 3 years old.
I will find my reciept and take my truck back to them.
Once they are done, so am I.
I WILL NEVER AGAIN USE YOKUM AUTOBODY FOR ANY REPAIR WORK!

Brought my car in for some body damage. From the start I had nothing but a positive experience. They handled all the insurance paperwork, lined me up with a great rental car and had the work completed within a week. They also washed and detailed my car before I picked it up. Both ladies working behind the counter were awesome and super helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone!

My girlfriend hates camping more than anything in the world and we were invited to a festival wedding. We rented an RV. We crashed that RV. We limped it into this shop and the owner bent over backwards to help get us back on the road in less than an hour. He was more than fair with the price and super nice, two things you don’t always get in small towns when the shop knows you don’t have any options. 10 out of 10 would recommend this shop.
