This was a wonderful treat! As long as I’ve been a D23 member, I never downloaded the app and knew all the things we can attend! This was the 1st event since the pandemic and it was such a wonderful treat to go to the Walt Disney Studios, walk around, shop, and see the 50th anniversary of Bedknobs and Broomsticks. The Studio spoiled us with the absolute best popcorn I’ve ever had at a theater and that included the fancy Dasani water bottles. 🙂
Me and my daughter walked along Mickey Avenue and Dopey Drive where Walt’s beautiful children would ride their bikes and enjoy Sunday’s when there weren’t any employees there. It was just serene. It meant so much to us because they don’t give tours at the Studios to the general public, so it surely was special!
The seats were so velvety and comfy and they even rock! All the employees treated us respectfully and gave us individual attention; something that was very important to Walt. I’m happy to see it’s still an important aspect to their customer service. If you’re not a member of the D23 club, I would invite you to join, and you can even join for free! And, you’ll even meet some fellow Disney Peeps!

To spend 6 minutes watching the short but engrossing Oscar winning animated film, Piper, by Disney Pixar, is worth the time. The themes in Piper are not only meaningful and rational, but they are also very inspiring. Although the animation definitely has vivid colors and meticulous details, what stands out the most is how realistic but adorable the characters and the backgrounds are. The birds, the beach, and the ocean are all drawn with detail and beauty. Out of all the different techniques Disney used, the emotional elements that were added really swayed the audience’s entire perspective. This true piece of art was one of the finest Disney ever created. Whenever you’re down in the dumps, or are in need of a small laugh, just open your device, and watch Piper. I’m sure that there is not a single person that wouldn’t laugh at the adorable seagulls, or be able to resist their mouths forming a satisfied smile in the end.

Pretty good tour offered to Disney elite fans. They take you through several production buildings, but you aren’t able to enter any sound stages, which is a bummer. The first highlight of the tour is seeing Walt Disney’s office – an incredible, historic location. The second highlight is getting to hold a REAL Oscar that Disney won. It’s HEAVY. Pro tip: Grab as many of the free cookies and waters they offer you during the introduction video. They’re AMAZING and are the only snacks you’ll get.

For having so much pride in their creativity Disney couldn’t come up with an original idea to save their Life (which if you check their financial history is a laugh and a half).
