The Home Depot Reviews

This place needs a serious management overhaul. There are never any contractors cart available, no parking in front of the contractor bay now due to unnecessary storage of materials. You have carts spread out all over the lot. The store is riddled with carts being used as storage devices just waiting to be unloaded. It’s like they are just spitting in our faces. This branch has needed new management for years. They have plenty of room in the back to store supplies. Instead they take their patrons for granted and make them park 1/4 mile away to get a box of nails. When time is money there is no reason to come to this branch. Only reason it doesn’t get 1 star is Maria, Abdul, and Joe are great.

This pace is horrible. The customer service is nonexistent. Home Depot is suppose to have have a first come first serve with van and truck rentals. I was there early and first. I waited in the cold. That white woman at customer service reserved a van for a customer even tho it’s first come first served and I was there in line before anyone else. She first told me the van outside wasn’t working, then she told me she reserved it for another customer. Rude. I had to find a manager to help me and I asked him about the van/truck rentals and he said they don’t hold vehicles for people that it’s first come first serve. He went over to customer service like he was going to fix them problem and correct his associate but he didn’t do the right thing. Instead he said she promised the customer and told me to reserve something online. Even tho he knew I was there first. He spoke to me before he entered the store. Do not expect any level of customer service. He kept saying she promised well… Home Depot told it’s customers they’d be fair and go by the policies but their associates aren’t. This is a bad company. The management and associates need to be replaced and some retrained. They deserve 0 stars. I’m so tired of supporting businesses that would allow their employees to do whatever they want. Your employees don’t care how you’re losing money because they come to work just to collect a paycheck. They don’t care if your reputation is ruined, they don’t care if they drive away customers. Those are the people that will cause you loss to your profits. It was a terrible experience from the moment I arrived. They didn’t even bother to open the doors on time. Also if they bother to reply DO NOT BELIEVE THEM WHEN THEY SAY: “I’m sorry you had a bad experience. We try to standby our customers, and if you like to share more information about your experience please contact us” it’s a lieeeeeeee they are already aware of everything. You can tel by the way the handled the situation that they were unapologetic. Those people strive to give others a bad day. RACIST B**ch.

Went to buy an artificial Christmas tree. This gentleman working there was so helpful and caring. He went out of his way to help me and everyone else.
Additionally, when I was in self checkout, the lady working there helped me through the veterans’ discount process (if you’re a veteran, register for your 10% discount!) and temporarily saved my cart so I could complete the registration without holding up the other customers in line.
Their customer service alone deserves 5 stars, but this tree is also amazing. It’s the 7.5ft tree, prelit, for only $100!

Only HD I have ever given a 2 star rating.
With other better run, better stocked, Home Depots in the area don’t waste your time going here. I understand online stock levels don’t usually match the actual in store, not here not even close. ALL the gutter inventory is damaged. Stock is in disarray, after hunting for awhile I actually found one item I needed on the floor under the shelves mixed in with various items and trash. To top it off the music was obnoxious and blasting. Headed to another store agravated & with a headache.

Don’t try to buy power tools here at the Annandale location. Came here on three different occasions for three different tool needs and each time getting an associate to even come help has been a challenge, but EACH time they had issues finding keys to unlock the cages. Went to the HD down the street and WHOA, combination locks instead! Genius…
