Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Florence and want a good view! Entrance fee was €10 per person and the place is full of beautiful statues and well cultivated grounds. If you make it up to the top of the hill you’ll be rewarded with some fine panoramic views of the city and beyond. I would add that the grounds were rather dry in the July sun and the advertised cafe was under renovation, so be prepared to bring plenty of water and take your time if you want to explore it all.

Visited in September during the rain and it was lovely because there were no crowds! 10€ per person. Bring lots of water because there’s elevation and stair areas to explore on the grounds. Pro tip is to have a nice picnic and enjoy the views around you while wandering through the tall hedges. Also, at the very top is a wonderful secluded garden. You’ll have the opportunity to take panoramic photos. (When I visited this garden in 2015, the grass was much greener and taken care of. The flowers blooming were at the very top. There are plentiful fruit trees and lots of greenery with the hedges.)

We went in August which is perhaps not the best time to visit. Some of the ground were quite dry and it was really hot. The ticket is 10 EUR for an adult and free for children under 18. There are lovely views of the city from the gardens for sure. Although perhaps I would not call it gardens but a park. It is not maintained like some castle gardens around Europe. I would say is kind of the wilder side. The grounds are very large though so if you do want to see it all, you will need at least and hour and a half. It is a lot of climbing up and down so best to come when it’s not 35 degrees outside. We did not see any places to grab a coffee or a drink inside the actual garden. There is a lovely small botanical garden as a part of the grounds. Some of the places were closed off for restoration. My lower rating really could be due to the time we visited. I believe in spring the park will be lovely.

Nice garden but this august I would not really recommend to visit this place. The greenery is not really green because of the heat and many parts of the garden are closed so you can just basically walk trough the garden but not even the fountains were working. If your age is below 25 (and you are from Europe ) and you want to chill in a park it’s cool cause you pay 2€ but I would not really recommend it. Many more places to see in this wonderful city. You see some nice views but don’t expect much from this garden this august

This is a must do when in Florence! This garden/park is stunning. The way is well maintained and the beautiful statues around as well as other lots of details makes this place absolutely worth to visit. My daughter loved it too. We stopped in the park to rest a little and was mesmerized by the surroundings.
