Min height on bigger slides is 48” due to landings being a 4ft depth.
Water park is really nice. There are a large range of activities for all ages which is really nice. They have stuffed as much as you possibly can into one area.
We are here near the end of April and the crowds are not too bad. So if you are getting here on the day of checkin don’t feel the need to pay for early check in, you should be able to find a table without issue.
Our kids are between 5 and 10 and the kids areas are perfect for them and they have some bigger slides that are perfect for them and a few that are too intense. Our family had a great time. Minimum height on many slides is 48”.
Comparing it to great wilderness and treasure island I would say it’s not as big and you are stretching it if you just want to stay in resort, I can see the kids getting board by day 3 and wanting to go out. Great wilderness gave us scenery changes with different rooms so they never really got old which is important for winter months. April isn’t too bad to venture out.

The Kalahari is one of our family favorite water parks to visit. There are activities for all ages. Activities indoors include water slides, lazy river, 2 kids areas, hot tubs, water basketball, and surfing. There are chairs to lounge in as long as you get there early enough. Next time we will most likely rent out a Cabana, it looks a lot more convenient for the family. The drinks are what you would expect for price in a tourist area, and there is also a restaurant in the water park area. Thanks for the wonderful time!

It’s okay. Not what I expected. Water was decent temperature. One side of the pool was closed due to the water conditions om day 1.
The second day was a little crowded to enjoy. With that said, I 100% recommend bringing yourself water shoes. My partner was walking to get towels on Saturday and he stepped on something sharp and cut his foot. He offered to walk to the first aid but he started leaving a trail of blood and was told to sit down on a chair. Whatever he stepped on wasn’t found but Staff was quick to respond and Guests were helpful and guided the staff on where to look after incident. Several staff came to ask about the details. They checked the area, sweeped it, cleaned up the blood on the ground and told him to stay off the water.
Ems came to him to check on the cut and make sure it stopped bleeding and put a band aid on it. After that we went home.

This indoor waterpark has the most amazing waterslides. Try the baboon slide and the one next to it, I forgot the name. It takes on a surprising plunge and it’s really fun.

Came for Colossal Con 2022 and attended the late night rave party in the pool. While I was leaving the convention, some lady was reaming on an employee about her children having to see “boobs and crotches” so I’m reviewing to say I had one of the best times of my life. The staff was friendly and responsible even if they were working a bare bones staff. Despite this, the pool was well regulated and fun and full of rowdy people having a great time. Thanks for a wonderful lifelong memory.
And if that lady sees this, you really need to grow up and maybe not take your kids to a pool party with an open bar at 10pm lol
