Bro, this is the WORST Guitar Center in the greater Seattle area. Save yourself a trip and just get what you need on Amazon, this place is completely out of basic necessities. Guitar picks, nah son. Bass strings? You’re set if you play a five string. Drum heads, sticks and wires? Forget about it, or make due with their over priced, limited stock.

Staff was pretty busy ripping dope riffs to an empty store, they’re pretty useless to begin with. My buddy checked out in pro audio and I had to inconvenience some other dude to check me out in front of the store, ya know – where 90% of people go to get checked out.
It’s like, I already hate going to Guitar Center, but this was for sure the last straw.
Most basic needs can be met on Amazon for a fraction of the price – whatever guys, you blew it. But that’s why this place is bankrupt. ✌

We went in today to the guitar center.we bought a squire bass , Eric was the one who helped us. He was very polite and patient with us. He answered all my questions with no problem and showed he has a lot of knowledge of musical instruments. He was awesome , he even tuned my guitar and helped me bring it to my car. I would recommend anyone to go to this store.

Yesterday was my first time ever stepping into a guitar center/purchasing my own instrument and I was impressed by how friendly the staff were. they were knowledgeable and worked with me to figure out the perfect base within my budget. They were very understanding that I was a beginner and that I had lots of questions. They took the time to compare the brands and taught me about the characteristics of what makes a good bass and red flags that I should avoid when picking one. They let me test a whole bunch and was very patient with me at times when I couldn’t make up my mind. I am very content with what I purchased and the experience I got.

One attendent was asleep. I had to say something before he opened his eyes. The guys organizing the store were focused on cleaning and I had to wait some time just to get my strings. Huge selection of guitar equipment, so the below average customer service isn’t wasn’t creating return business.

I was in here picking up bass guitars ( low end ones because the ones I want were locked) for about 20 minutes after I spent 10 minutes looking all over for speaker cables and there were like at least 5 probably 10 employees and 3 customers in here and not one person asked if I needed help then I stood and the check stand with my speaker cables to pay for them and at least two employees walked right past me the third almost did but stopped and said do you need something and finally he helped me buy the cables that I selected. Now I understand that my clothes were dirty because I just got off work but I have $3100.00 in my pocket cash to buy the Gibson ripper hanging on the wall if only someone would had just asked if I needed any help and tried in some way to assist me we would have made a deal I would have a new bass to tap on instead of this comment. The prices of guitars are insulting nowadays but the lack of appreciation by the manufacturer and by the dealer is enough to get me to never purchase anything from gc ever again
