This location is quite unique. I always enjoy this neighborhood and views you receive in this parking lot of downtown MPLS. The location serves so many communities and you can feel and diversity when you arrive. This Cub is a cornerstone in this community and offers a lot to it. The fresh items are superb, the square footage is great, you don’t feel cramped. I’ll say it’s narrow at the start of the store and goes wide as you make it back to the establishment. Parking lot can jam up, depending on which entrance you use to park. Many popular brands share this parking lot so you could park centrally and do your shopping at all of them. I saw the grocery pick-up full, doesn’t surprise me because this community is compact. I hope this location expands, grocery delivery…etc I think they could impact the community even more. Grew up in the neighborhood… The location is more than ideal for Cub… Although the customer service is a C at most… What happy to employees helping you with your questions or just even pointing you in the right direction???? The only one that helped me was the janitor…. Thanks Mr. Janitor… The employees up front seemed to busy with the conversation the was having to even answer my question I had with checking out or the rewards program…. Have not been to Cub in year’s. Tried to shop Cub again,,, I remember why I stopped…. Customer service to say the least… Cub is a thumbs down for me once again… No thanks Cub…. Way to rude for me…. I am in customer service and would never treat anyone in that manner….

This location usually has the items in shopping for. It’s located on the bus route which is convenient for me. The lines are usually short enough to where you don’t have to wait very long. The employees are nice and are helpful if you have any questions.

A decent store except for the always reliably malfunctioning self check-out machines. Apparently made from top shelf, cutting-edge technology from the late Soviet era, these clunky beasts have a smaller functional domain than an early 1980s desktop calculator and can always be counted on to accuse a shopper in a hurry of trying to place unscanned items on the finisher platform and then to loudly chastise same said shopper for (understandably) removing the item in a desperate attempt to finish the transaction and leave the store. At this point, help from a member of the staff is needed, though said staff are often otherwise busy or simply so immune to the plight of shoppers that their sluggish response leaves one dangling in a kind of desperate grocery dystopia for far too long.
Cub, please, PLEASE replace or fix your machines! Your shoppers need this!

I tend to try to save some money while i am grocery shopping so i tend to steer clear of Cub. I was doing my normal grocery run today and baught the bulk of my food at trader joes downtown their prices never break the bank and the quality is always up to par. I thought stopping into cub for my last bit of essentials would be quick and easy. I was wrong. The layout of the store is confusing, not something i cant handle. The prices however were outrageous. When i tell you i spent double what i would normally pay at aldi or hi-ve i mean it. There wasnt much under 4 dollars, yet everything is on sale. I looked around and did not spot one young person shopping and the majority of clientele were in their 50’s which reflects the pricing. If you want good food at an addaquite price steer clear of cub.
